Digital modeling for the performance of your installations
BIM & DIGITAL TWIN
From the virtual world, digital modeling allows you to simulate, analyze, predict and optimize the performance of your buildings and facilities.
Personalized support
Our working method consists of capturing a building or technical installations using our 3D scanners and then transforming this data into deliverables that can be used by you, your design offices, your subcontractors, etc.

We begin by helping you define your meter reading needs. We start by asking you a few questions:
- Which areas of your building or factory do you want to survey and why? What are the access constraints (training, authorizations, schedules, etc.)?
- How precise do you need the survey? Some installations may need to be surveyed to the millimeter for technical studies, while for other areas, centimeter accuracy may be sufficient for contextual purposes.
- Which coordinate system do you want to use? You can choose a local coordinate system or geographic coordinates. Are there any control points on site?
- Which software do you want to use this data in? And in what formats: point clouds, 2D plans, 3D models, BIM, etc.?
From there we can explain what types of measuring devices we can use, with what level of precision, under what conditions, etc. We can then discuss the deliverables:
- We provide point clouds and set up collaborative platforms, virtual tours, etc.
- We support you in engineering studies
- We offer data analysis and inspection services
- We model point clouds and produce digital models, BIM (Scan to BIM) models or digital twins.
A digital twin based on a point cloud
A point cloud combined with 360° photos is a highly effective way to visualize and leverage accurate dimensional information to manage your industrial site. But it's possible to go much further than that. AI allows us to segment point clouds in just a few hours and associate them with business data. Automatic detection of physical components (pumps, pipes, valves, etc.) then enables us to assign them unique identifiers (tag IDs) and connect them to the asset management system (CMMS).

The entire system can be linked to your existing technical diagrams (P&IDs). This allows you to quickly regain control of aging assets without having to produce a 3D model. The advantages:
- Cost optimization compared to producing a 3D model. No need for 3D modeling.
- Collaborative cloud platform. Remote access via browser. Easy sharing between your teams.
- Connection possible to your databases, CMMS, P&IDs, IoT, etc.
- Validate P&IDs or piping isometrics more quickly.
- Easily share information with your colleagues and suppliers.
- Prepare procedures, operating methods, and maintenance operations.
- Train staff and integrate temporary workers.
A custom-made digital model
If you need to work from a 3D model, several options are available. But first, we need to assess your software and hardware resources so that you can effectively use this digital model:
-
Software compatibility
Which software do you want to work with? Autocad, Solidworks, E3D, Microstation, ArchiCAD, Revit, … we can offer formats compatible with a large number of software.
-
Performances & infrastructure
Are the PCs you're using powerful enough? Pay attention to the size of the models. Perhaps a viewer or a web platform for working with your model would be more suitable. What does your IT department think?
-
Level of Detail (LOD)
Whether for CAD or BIM software, the LOD (Level of Detail) is a key concept. It refers to the level of precision with which we model each object. Our experts will ask you about the need to model specific object categories with a particular level of detail. The goal is to optimize costs and model size so that it precisely meets your requirements.
Towards a BIM (Scan to BIM) model
Building Information Modeling (BIM) has become a standard in architecture, engineering, and construction. Take your digital model to the next level! We'll add properties (technical information, materials, costs, maintenance, etc.) to the geometry of the objects. This is the level of information (or LOI).
- What are your BIM objectives? (Client requirements, LOD/LOI requirements)
- Do you have a BIM convention that defines the modeling rules, formats, exchange protocols, etc.?

If nothing is already in place, our BIM managers will assist you in defining and deploying your BIM process. Here are some possible applications:
- By using a shared digital model, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals can collaborate more effectively and in a coordinated manner, reducing the risk of errors or delays.
- Improved project visualization before construction (virtual reality, 3D renderings).
- Simulate the building's thermal behavior to better design it in terms of comfort and energy efficiency. Discover Synapse Concept.
- Anticipate problems on the construction site. Identify clash detection between different trades.
- Site planning: Integrate BIM with a schedule to track project progress.
- Anticipate and plan maintenance operations to reduce operating costs.
By integrating sensors and real-time data streams into your BIM model, it becomes a digital twin that allows you to monitor the condition of your buildings and technical installations. This not only optimizes costs and performance, but also improves the safety, comfort, and sustainability of your infrastructure.
The advantages of the digital twin

- Real-time monitoring of building performance (temperature, energy consumption, humidity, etc.) using IoT sensors.
- Reduction of energy bills and carbon footprint by optimizing a building's energy consumption.
- Cost reduction through predictive equipment maintenance. Data collection allows for anticipating breakdowns.
- Monitoring the status of security systems (cameras, alarms, access control, etc.) to quickly detect any anomalies.
- Integration of indoor geolocation systems to help occupants orient themselves and find specific equipment in large complexes.
- Enabling users to access real-time building information (such as room availability, comfort levels, etc.).
What equipment needs to be connected? What are your business challenges? Energy consumption management, predictive maintenance, space optimization, security, ... Our team will support you in defining your building management objectives, integrating IoT, and setting up a data analysis system.
